August 2024 – Our new manager Paul Seels, who took up post on 22 April 2024 has been confirmed as a the Registered Manager by the CQC.

June 2024 – Following an unannounced site inspection in early May the CQC have published their inspection report on 25 June 2024. Our overall rating remains at ‘Requires Improvement’ Please see the full report on the CC website.

November 2022 – CQC Site Inspection results in overall rating of ‘Requires Improvement’. Work is underway to address the issues brought to light and we fully expect to demonstrate improvements by 31 January 2023. The full report is published from 31 December 2022 on the CQC website.

July 2021 – The Manager, Monika Payne, receives a ‘Certificate of Recognition’ from the University of Plymouth School of Nursing & Midwifery for her support to pre-registered Nursing & Midwifery students over the last year.

June 2021 – Caritate Nursing Home receives ‘The Care Home Excellence Award’ from the South West Academic Health Science Network.

February 2021 – CQC Physical inspection of Infection Control Measures found that “infection control measures were in line with requirements”
